OUR STATE OF MIND DETERMINATES OUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

Posted on Updated on

Sometimes we are so beaten down that we lack motivation to move forward in a positive and creative way becomes impossible. However, this situation only brings us more lack and hardship. It is like a merry go-round, filled with sorrow that keeps on coming. Why  does this happens? Well, it is simple; we tend to concentrate obsessively in the reasons “WHY WE CANNOT” and not so much on the reasons WHY WE CAN! As we already know, WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT. This is why people with money, seem to have more money come their way, with less effort and people with lack in their lives, seems to encounter more sorrow.

OUR STATE OF MIND DETERMINATES OUR CIRCUMSTANCES.

We have to learn to plant better crops, the Universe doesn’t care about what kind of energy you send out to it, it will give you back in the same measure and more of it. Make sure that it is the kind of energy and thoughts of what we want the only energy we send out, in order to receive what we truly want into our lives.

Earle Nightingale gives these 5 steps to achieve the life we want:

  1. Think positive – Remember that we become what we think about…
  2. Courage – Be clear about your GOALS and go for it!
  3. Imagination – Use the power of visualization to see where you want to go and to create your life without living out any detail!
  4. Save 10% out of every Dollar you make.
  5. Action – GOALS and IDEAS are no good unless action is taken.

And don’t forget that no man can become rich himself, unless he brings richness to others.

This will be the best information that you can receive and it is only 30 minutes.

Article #10. Manifestation and the Law of Attraction

Posted on Updated on

6ft-laud-bch-6-7-13-puppet-foot1After reading this article, I decided to post it on my blog, since I know for a fact this to be true. The times in my life when I have been connected to my Highest Self, to the Highest Power, have been the most prosperous and happiest times…When my thoughts are clear with a sense of direction and joy.

Manifestation and the Law of Attraction

Yes, you can have anything your heart desires through applying the universal law of attraction. However, the key is to really be in touch with your Higher Self in order for your true heart’s desire to manifest for you on a conscious level. If a desire comes to you and is primarily revealed only through your personal ego – your lower self – without actual guidance from your Higher Self, then this desire has a lesser chance of manifesting.

How, then do you tap into that part of you which is in touch with your Higher Self? The key is through meditation. By stilling the body and the mind and allowing your Higher consciousness to flow through you in order to guide and direct your true desires. Turning your energies inward and closing off all outside distractions allows you to focus your attention on your Higher consciousness which resides at the center of your mind.

Now, once you are in touch and aligned with your true heart’s desire as revealed by your Higher Self, you can begin to apply various manifestation concepts to nourish your desire and bring it into fruition.

This is where the fun really begins!!!!

How to Manifest What You Truly Want For Your Life

Apply the following techniques in order to manifest your heart’s desire:

First, breathe, calm your body and your mind by sitting in a quiet place, close your eyes, and turn your attention inward and focus on your third eye between your eyebrows. Take 3 deep breaths-in through the nose and out through the mouth. As you exhale, repeat the sound of “aah.” Next, breathe in through your nose and exhale through your nose and focus on your breath. Do this 3 times. Now that your body and mind are relaxed, you can begin to visualize your desire as it is revealed to you.

Once you have experienced what you feel is a true desire, then you can begin to visualize this desire in great detail already fulfilled in your mind’s eye. Create a mental movie of this desire in as much detail as possible. Use all your senses to see, hear, touch, taste, and above all, feel, the end result in your mind’s eye.

Capture the feeling state associated with your desire. Would you feel strong, powerful, love, peace, joy, having achieved your desire? The feeling state linked to the visualization fuels the flame to manifest your desire.

Practice these techniques on a regular basis, DO NOT GIVE UP and make miracles happen in your life!!!!

Article # 8. Discovering Your Passion and Purpose

Posted on

This article contains an interesting link to a website, that offer a free course related to discovering your passion. I hope you are enjoying my SUCCESS article series and that you are taking something with you, to bring you closer to the place where you want to be with you life! I am… Enjoy

 Article #magnified glass 8

“I can’t seem to discover why I’m on the planet.”

“What is my purpose here? I know there’s something I’m supposed to be doing, but I don’t know how to find out what it is.”

“I don’t seem to be passionate about anything.”

I’ve heard these complaints over and over from my clients.

Discovering our passion and purpose is vital to our joy and well-being. The problem is that many people have lost touch with any sense of their passion and purpose and have no idea how to access this information.

The blueprint for this information lays within our core self, our essence, the true Self that is often buried during our early years. If our true Self was not seen and validated by our parents, teachers, or other caregivers, it is likely to have gone underground. The self-many of know as our “self” is generally our wounded self, our ego, the self we created to get love and avoid pain. Our wounded self has within it all of our fears and false beliefs, and does not have access to what is true for us.

How, then, do we discover our passion and purpose if the blueprint for this information is long buried? The good news is that while it is buried, it is not lost. Anyone can reclaim this information if you are willing to do the inner work of healing your wounded self.

I’ve worked with thousands of clients who, as they practice the Inner Bonding process that I teach (see our FREE course at www.innerbonding.com), gradually heal their fears and false, limiting beliefs to the point where their true Self comes peeking out. This is the vital, alive aspect of ourselves, the aspect of us that just wants to joyfully express ourselves in the world. As you allow this aspect to emerge, you will gradually discover what truly brings you joy.

In our society, we tend to ignore our special talents and choose our careers according to what will give us a sense of security. Too often, however, what makes us feel safe does not fulfill us spiritually. For example, Roger worked for many years as an attorney, but he never enjoyed it. He made lots of money, yet when he consulted with me he was suffering from anxiety and depression. He had become an attorney because his father had been an attorney and wanted Roger to follow in his footsteps. Roger had gone along with what his father wanted for him because he didn’t know what else he wanted and now, in midlife, he was miserable. He yearned to discover his passion.

A few months after starting to practice Inner Bonding, Roger remembered that he had really wanted to be a teacher. He had never seriously considered teaching because he felt he couldn’t make enough money, but now he was willing to make far less money because he was so unhappy with his present work. Roger went back to school and got his teaching credential and is now a high school social studies teacher. The last time I spoke with him he was radiant! He loved working with adolescents, and he felt he was making a real contribution to their lives. For the first time ever, he felt alive and passionate about his life. His wife decided to take up some of the financial slack by doing something she had always wanted to do: design children’s clothing. She started her own mail-order business and is thrilled with it. Their marriage and family life is flourishing because both of them are happy and fulfilled within themselves.

Ricki came to see me because she was so unhappy working as a controller of a big import business. Yet she had no idea what else she wanted to do. It took about a year of practicing Inner Bonding before her true Self told her that she wanted to be a nutritionist. Ricki hadn’t wanted to hear her true Self because she didn’t want to go back to school. Finally she was so unhappy that she decided to listen. She is now back in school enjoying discovering her passion.

While it may not always be possible to change your work immediately to something you love, if you follow your passion, it will often lead you there. And even when you have to earn money in ways that do not express your soul; you can seek volunteer opportunities and hobbies to express who you are. Often these can lead to the work that you will eventually do.

Alfredo worked as a manager of a large supermarket. With his small savings, he decided to start pursuing a hobby that had always fascinated him – restoring old cars. He used all his extra money to buy his first old car and spent many blissful hours restoring it. He was so good at it; he was able to sell his restored cars for a lot of money. Eventually he was able to quit his job at the market and pursue his passion full time. Ultimately he started a project in a prison teaching inmates to restore cars. Alfredo now loves what he does and receives great satisfaction from helping others.

Your soul has a deep desire for you to express yourself in ways that brings you joy. It is your job to discover what that is and to bring it about.

Article #7. Magical Success Formula

FIND Everything you WANT at: http://eshop-today.com/

Are you looking for the secret or magical success formula?

Do you think it’s a well-gmarathon6 - SUCCESSuarded, password-protected valuable locked away in some private vault? Good news! In this article I open wide the door to the success formula vault.

 Here’s The Secret…

The secret to success is having a strong vision and the perseverance and determination to overcome whatever obstacles get in your way, along with the courage to make a difference. Not what you wanted to hear? Read on.

When Amadeo Peter Giannini (better known as A.P.) was only 7, his father died in a fight over one dollar. Times got real hard. Eventually A.P.’s mother married a man in the produce business. At age 14 A.P. quit school to work with his stepfather. By 19 he was a partner in their thriving enterprise. It was here that A.P. built his reputation for integrity and honesty. At 31 years of age he had all the money he needed or wanted, and announced his retirement.

At 32, A.P’s real career started when he was asked to join the board of the Columbus Savings & Loan society. It wasn’t long before A.P found himself at odds with the other directors. He wanted the bank to loan money to hard-working immigrants, but at that time banks catered only to business men and the wealthy. His ideas of loaning money to the working class were scoffed at.  But A.P. was determined to make a difference for immigrants too – he had the vision, the perseverance and determination. He raised $150,000, and bought a converted saloon across the street from the Columbus S&L. A. P. kept the bartender on as an assistant teller, and opened the Bank of Italy. It was here he began to make a difference – to devise his real success formula.

It was considered improper and uncouth, but A.P. began ringing door bells and talking to everyone he could about his bank. He advertised. He kept the bank open longer hours and on weekends to fit into working people’s schedules. Business boomed. He knew he was beginning to make a difference. But making money wasn’t A.P.’s sole measurement of success.

He believed he could make a difference by making other people’s dreams come true, too. He helped the California Wine Industry get started. He bankrolled Hollywood when they were trying to make movies popular. When Walt Disney ran $2 million dollars over budget on Snow White, he stepped in with a loan.

A.P.’s story exemplifies the secret to success — a strong vision, the perseverance and determination to overcome obstacles thrown your way and the courage to make a difference, even in the face of opposition.

OK, I Gave Away The Secret — Now Here’s The Success Formula Integrity combined with “giving back” is the real success formula. This was A.P.’s personal success formula. What began in 1904 as the Bank of Italy is now the Bank of America — the world’s largest bank.  And what about A.P.? Did he die a billionaire?

When he passed away at age 79, A.P.’s estate was worth less than $500,000. This was purely by choice. A.P. looked down on great wealth. He believed it would make him lose touch with the people he wanted to serve. He worked without pay for years. One year he was given a surprise $1.5 million bonus and promptly gave it to the University of California.

It’s a winning success formula — integrity plus “giving back.”

There’s One More Thing –By every standard, Amadeo Peter Giannini was a success. But his true measure of success was to make a difference every day of his life. I hope that will be your measuring stick as well. To achieve success, you’ve got to have a strong vision, and the perseverance and determination to overcome the obstacles that will come your way, permeated with integrity. Adding to that, give back to your community – make a difference and you’ll be successful indeed!

Article # 6. How to Get Exactly What You Want!

Posted on Updated on

Article # 6

 J. Paul Getty was quoted for his formula for success: “Rise early, work hard, strike oil.” I’m a huge supporter of the practice of rising early (and if you’re not, you probably should be). But regardless of when you wake up, the other two actions in this formula are “work hard,” and “strike oil.”

When I first ran across this quote ten years ago, I had to laugh, because it looked like Getty was saying you have to work hard and hope to get lucky. But a decade later, I can see the more relevant meaning, and I’m about to share with you why Getty’s concept, perhaps more than anything else you might ever read, could be what gets you everything you want for the rest of your life.

It’s all about your expectations

In short, it all comes down to your personal expectation as to whether or not you’re going to strike oil. That’s it. That’s where it all starts. I can say this because that’s how reality works – you’re not going to get anything if you don’t work hard to achieve it. But you’re not going to work hard in the first place unless you have a strong enough expectation that you’ll be successful (or at least be successful at learning from the experience).

This is just how life works. Your motivation to take action, and to follow through until the job is done, is directly proportional to your belief that you will succeed. (Side note: In some cases, the belief in success isn’t even necessary – instead, you might be motivated by the fact your action will serve a higher cause, such as a ‘failed’ protest sparking a larger public awareness down the road).

If you break this concept down to the simplest parts, what you have is this: When you believe strongly enough that you will succeed at something, success is practically guaranteed – not because your belief creates the result, but because you don’t give up taking action on a massive level until you get what you want.

When you believe that success is inevitable, you are able to put aside the idea that “failure,” in the conventional sense, is a bad thing. Instead, it’s just a specific attempt that you can learn from. Another life lesson to be accepted and consumed not feared.

When you believe that success is going to be the end result of you never giving up, then you are going to attack your objective with a greater energy, a greater passion, a greater work ethic. You’re going to be excited about what you’re doing, because you know that it matters. You know that whatever it is you’re doing, it’s adding value that will eventually translate into the result you want.

That unwavering belief lets you focus your thoughts on questions like “How can I …?” rather than “Why can’t I …?” The perspective of certainty gives you the ability to see obstacles as not these things that stand in your way, but instead as challenges that fuel your growth.

I’ve paid my dues

I experienced this myself as a ten year old kid in Brooklyn, New York. A horrible turn of events led to my mother getting murdered, my father going to prison for life, and me ending up all but homeless until I was taken in by a relative who was both an alcoholic and a drug user.

Years later, after I escaped the constant surroundings of drugs and violence, people remarked to me how surprised they were that I had avoided getting involved in drugs, alcohol, or any of the gang activity that was so pervasive during those years. Rather than any of that, I pretty much was a straight-A student who stayed out of (too much) trouble.

I always found it a bit humorous that while some people believed it was a solid foundation of strength that kept me on the straight and narrow, the thing that really kept me safe was that I didn’t really accept the idea that I could get involved in any of those things in the first place. I just didn’t know any better – I thought I was supposed to avoid them!

I just didn’t see it as possible or reasonable for me, so I never thought about it. Those things were problems “other people” got involved in, but not me. In fact, I viewed the daily challenges I faced as tests that were there to make me stronger, so one day my life could make some kind of difference. And poof – that’s exactly what happened. :

The point of all this is that all of my actions were driven by a firm belief that I would succeed eventually. That I would get through it all and come out okay on the other side. That I would strike oil. And it’s no different than the mindset you have to adopt to make any of your goals/dreams/objectives a reality.

There’s an old saying, “What would you attempt if you knew you could not fail?” While it sounds good on the surface (and it is, don’t get me wrong), it’s not perfect. Sure you could say what you would attempt if you knew you couldn’t fail, but that doesn’t help you when your brain is shouting, “Hey dummy, you’re probably going to fail, don’t you realize that?” The original question is a good start, but it needs to be taken a step further.

Instead of wishful thinking about what “could” happen, I’ve found a better question is more along the lines of “What will you attempt knowing that you will ultimately succeed, despite all the ‘failures’ that are sure to come along the way?”

Because, face it, life is going to throw some pretty rough stuff over to you. You’re going to have a lot more “go wrong” than you’d ever hoped for. But striking oil is about drilling deeper, even if you hit a few rocks along the way. In fact, the expectation is that you have to do a lot of drilling before you tap into that pocket of oil.

So let’s talk about setting expectations. An expectation, in its most literal sense, is a certainty that a specific result will occur.

If you’ve got a major goal that want to achieve, you need to have at least five things straightened out before you can really attack it full force.

#1 – You have to have the expectation that you, specifically you, can achieve this goal.

This one is a biggie. People typically have a lot easier time believing something is “possible” than believing its “possible for them.” They don’t fully believe that they will be capable of achieving a goal because they are missing something – the time, the talent, the resources, whatever. They have an unwritten expectation that they will not be one of the people who “have what it takes.”

That’s a load of garbage. If you believe that, even just a little bit, then it’s going to seriously damage your ability to take action. You’re never going to give 100% and stick with it until the job is done. If this is you, you need to fix this first. (Stay tuned for an upcoming article on how to do just that. I’ll link to it here when it’s ready).

#2 – You have to have the expectation that you will close the resource gap, no matter how wide it is.

This one is also a biggie. It’s easy to look at a large goal and feel like the distance between it and you is too wide. After all, how can you compete with the biggest successes in the world, which are already established? You can find out how by studying the people who do it every day, like skinny, broke college kid Michael Dell who took on IBM and Hewlett-Packard (and is still winning). If you’re reading these years from now, a hundred other stories just like his will have come and gone.

You have to, have to, and have to believe any resource gap can be closed. A lack of time, money, manpower, connections … it all doesn’t matter, because there’s a number of creative solutions out there that you’re going to come up with to overcome all that.

If you don’t believe the resource gap can be closed, it won’t, because you won’t take full-out action to make it happen. But if you have the expectation that it will eventually be resolved, guess what’s going to happen. (Again, stay tuned for an upcoming article on how to do just that. I’ll link to it here when it’s ready).

#3 – You have to have the expectation that you will find a solution to every problem that will inevitably come your way.

You can’t guarantee a problem-free life. But you can guarantee that you see a ‘problem’ as an opportunity, so rather than being drained by the challenge, you are energized. Chew on this and decide how you’re going to make this shift in thinking. (In the meantime, bookmark this post and check back later to find a link to an upcoming article on how to do this.)

#4 – You have to have the expectation that every action you take matters. Every damn one.

This is critical. When you think taking action won’t matter in the long run, you simply won’t do it. But when you recognize that action accumulates – that the pyramids are built brick by brick and every one matters, you’ll be willing to take action even when you don’t feel like it and your heart is not in it.

Remember, everything you matters. If you don’t think it does, then you need to make that shift as well. Stay tuned for an article on that.

#5 – You have to believe that you can accelerate the process of getting to your objective.

This one’s my favorite. As you improve the discipline of following through and taking action on a consistent basis, you’ll want to find new forms of leverage to make the journey to completion a lot shorter. This is what “Million Dollar Leverage” is all about.

By holding onto the firm expectation that you can find ways of leveraging all your resources, you’ll be subconsciously looking for ways to make that happen and as a result you’ll find a lot more of them. And that will get you to your goal faster. Much faster.

So, I hope I’ve sold you on the power of expectation to get what you want – to strike oil, whatever that means to you. If not, then read this article again and again until it sinks in. And then put your expectations to the test and get them correctly aligned. It’s a bit of work, but if you do it you’ll start seeing better results than you’ve ever seen before in a lot less time than you might imagine (unless your expectation is to see results right away 🙂 .

So get a pen and paper and get your expectations put in writing so you can drill them into your brain and use them to your advantage. Do it now – you’ll thank yourself for it.

Article #5. The Magic of Dreaming Big!!!

Posted on

6ft-laud-bch-6-7-13-puppet-foot1**This article contains some fun links – I have checked them out and I think they are interesting.

If you don’t dream big enough, you major in minor things. A sad fact of life is that people don’t live to achieve their fullest potential. Most of the time, the act of surviving consumes them. Earning enough to live a comfortable lifestyle takes up all their time. And in the end, they have yet to find meaning and fulfillment in their lives.

What’s wrong here? How is it that people who have a job, with steady income and a comfortable lifestyle, can still find their lives lacking meaning and value? Shouldn’t they be happy because they have money coming in; they can buy and do what they want?

Realize that achieving a life of fulfillment and happiness is not just about making tons of money, enjoying luxuries, and free-time off… that’s only part of it. The other part is what many people miss: It’s about realizing your life’s purpose and acting on it every day. This produces a passion that makes your life worth living. It frees your heart from the binds of meaningless routine work, and gives you a brighter future to look forward to. Every day will be a new day, where you wake up and say, “This is a day to play!” And off you go, out to make tons of money and live the high life. But this time, you have a purpose in doing so, and that’s why you are happy.

So how do you realize your purpose? How do you know what you can be?

Each of us is unique. Our personalities, desires, and life callings are different. I can’t tell you what your fullest potential is. The word ‘your’ implies that you must decide what fullest potential means to you – what is your soul’s calling? We all have innate potential or greatness that lies dormant within us, until we uncover it and nurture it. Note that I said ‘uncover’, not ‘discover’ because when you discover, it is something new and unknown. But when you uncover, it is realizing potential that has always been there.

To release your potential, you’ve got to have an idea of what it is. You need to have the big picture of your life clearly imagined in your mind. This vision gives you a destination, but doesn’t show you how to get there. That’s fine. We’ll draw our own road map later. Just being able to see this vision is already a major step to realizing your life’s purpose. So how do you get a vision? There are a few methods, and I will suggest some that have worked for me.

**Ways to Get a Vision**

1. Personal Dreamtime

Take some time off, maybe in the evening or on the weekend for a comfortable moment of personal reflection. Put some soothing music into the CD player – the kind that relaxes you and frees your mind. Sit or lie down, your choice.

While you relax, begin by remembering the past. Start when you were young. What were your childhood dreams? What had you always wanted to become? Remember that.

Now, progress through your life as it has unfolded until the present time. Noticing how your dreams have changed. While you do so, feel with your heart for the dream that most inspires you and fills you with wonder. As if you would say, “That’s wonderful or that’s awesome!” This dream is a potential calling.

 2. Keep a Record

Memory distorts over time. But you can see your life objectively if you keep a record of it. This record is essential to becoming aware of the big picture of your life as it unfolds every day. Start a personal journal. Write down your thoughts before bedtime. Take note of what went well today, what you look forward to tomorrow, and what wish to dream about tonight. By steadily collecting your innermost thoughts, you can track your progress through life, seeing if any significant changes have occurred. And if so, for better or for worse?

Take photos of your friends, places you visit, yourself at your best and so on. Photos bring back vivid memories, and are accurate records of your life. If you use a digital camera, you might want to start a journal on your computer. Then you can add photos, video, and audio to your journal. You can also print out your nicely formatted journal to share with friends, or publish it on the Internet.

Recommended Journaling Software: ‘The Journal’ – http://www.e-journal.us

3. Do a Numerological Analysis

Strangely, numerology is a good source of insight when it comes to realizing your purpose in life. The calculations for birth path, destiny number, and name analysis may uncover for you a purpose you had cast aside, but deep in your heart, known all your life. You might find yourself saying, “Hey that’s true… interesting!”

Free and Complete Numerology Reading: http://www.sun-angel.com/numerology

4. Do a Personality Test

Take an MBTI test (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator). You can find free tests on the Internet. Then get this book: “The Millionaire Code – 16 Paths to Wealth Building”, by Paul B. Farrell. It lists each of the 16 MBTI personalities, and how each personality type has built wealth using their own unique characteristics. Check it out!

Free MBTI Test: http://www.humanmetrics.com (Click on Jung Typology Test)

As you explore these methods, I suggest you keep a ‘life-purpose folder’. This could simply be a section in your journal, or a file by itself. In it, write down and compile everything about your life’s purpose. Try writing out a vision statement. List out your top ten life goals, and create a long list of what you enjoy doing. Think about how you can make a living doing what you enjoy. Once a month, make it a point to review what you have written. As you look over these precious details, you will gain an overview of your desires and aspirations. Your life’s purpose will become clearer to you. But don’t stop there, keep collecting more insights. You can also add the readings from your personality test, your numerology test and descriptions of what you see in your dreams. All will help to bring you greater clarity and vision in your life.

Once you have an idea of what your purpose and passion could be, start it now! Even if it’s only in a small way… because experience is the greatest teacher. Your experience will tell you whether this is your life’s purpose. Does it ignite the passion in you? You need to try out your purpose and see if it fits! Think of a job you can volunteer for, or a special project you can start on your own. By starting it now, you are giving yourself the opportunity to experience living your purpose.

At the end of your life, you are going to look back on all that you’ve done. Your greatest achievements and your happiest moments. You want to be able to say, “Yes, I’ve lived a great life. I’m grateful for everything life has given me.” And to do that, you need to start now. Get that journal, do those tests, and write down those thoughts… because you’re getting older, and you need to uncover your purpose to live a happier, more fulfilling life.

Article # 4. A Proper Mission Statement Can Drive Your Life Forward

Posted on

6ft-laud-bch-6-7-13-puppet-foot1Most people measure us by our accomplishments — what we’ve done. In my experience, most people compile their track record of accomplishments BY MISTAKE; that is, we don’t have a plan, we simply react to opportunities as they arise. In other words, our accomplishments are externally motivated, not internally driven. What this argues for, of course, is a consciousness of mission — what each of our lives is really about. That’s what this short article will discuss — your Personal Mission Statement. A Personal Mission Statement will help you to organize your entire life — your time, your thoughts, your priorities. Actually, a personal mission statement, conscientiously developed, will change the way you view everything in your life.

Your personal mission statement will force you to constantly re-evaluate who you are, what you’re about, and what you’re doing. As an example, just look at the Constitution of the United States. The essential mission statement there is “…to create a more perfect union.” Where would we be as a nation today if they had not outlined the goals and hopes of a new nation in those terms?

The basics of a mission statement are as follows:

1. Make it short and to the point. Nelson Mandela’s mission statement, developed over his 27 years in prison in South Africa, says just this: “End Apartheid.” Another great mission statement was developed by Abraham Lincoln upon his inauguration as President. “Preserve the Union.” Note that mission statements can change. Perhaps a mission is accomplished. Franklin Roosevelt started his presidency with a mission to “End the Depression.” By the time that was almost done another threat had arisen and the United States had become involved in World War II. Now the mission statement was “End the War.”

2. Keep your mission statement short, to the point, simple. Use direct language. Be sure that a 12-year-old could understand the statement and you’ll be more or less on track.

3. Make it memorable so it can be burned into your consciousness. The rule of thumb here is that if you can’t recite it from memory, it’s too long and too complicated. Remedy: simplify, condense, and “laser” your thought process until you’ve said everything you need to say in the fewest and strongest possible words.

 4. Eliminate excuses. Before you can write an effective mission statement you must clear away the excuses that prevent most people from writing one in the first place. Don’t make the mistake of thinking that your job IS your mission. It’s only part of it…or not. Either way, remember that a mission is larger than a job. Your job may change, but your mission may not. In fact, there are times that a job MUST change in order for a mission to be completed. So don’t lock yourself in a box that says that you ARE your work. You’re far more than that. Another trap…excuse…is “My role is my mission.” If you’re a man you may think of your role as “breadwinner.”

For a woman this might be “wife” or “mother.” The operating principle here is that your role, too, may change. In fact, as your life, evolves your role will almost certainly change. The third excuse — the one most of us don’t want to cop to — is that we may believe that we’re just not important enough to have a mission statement. Sure, it’s fine for a big company to have one, or for a country to have one, but I’m just one of the “little people,” so I don’t DESERVE one. Parenthetically, we almost never say this aloud. What we do say, at least to ourselves, is that we don’t NEED one. WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!! Get rid of all that silly thinking. Focus. You’ll be glad you did.

Finally, clear out influences that have driven you in the past. A mission statement isn’t about what you think you should be doing. It’s about what EXCITES you. So instead of listening to all those voices from the past…the ones that told you weren’t worth anything, that you’d never succeed, and so forth. Concentrate on your gifts, your dreams.

Article #3. How to Set Effective Goals

Posted on

6ft-laud-bch-6-7-13-puppet-foot1In this article, I will be sharing with you the secrets to set effective goals that will guarantee your success. I wish you can apply it into your own goals setting and wish all your goals come true.

So what is a goal? In previous issues, I talked a lot about quantum creation, and manifestation. You have already known that the universe will always obey your order, take your instruction and turn it into the exact things you want. Believe it or not, you are creating all the time, the only difference is some of your creations are unconscious, and some are conscious. Unfortunately, most of our unconscious creation are not what we truly want, as a result, we are consistently creating what we don’t want, and end up with an unhappy life. A goal is something that helps you eliminate unconscious creation, and turns it into conscious creation. A goal is the order, or the command that you send out to the universe consciously, and as a result, you will get what you consciously want, and ultimately the ideal life that you enjoy living.

The process of goals setting is to help you get clear about want you truly want, turn your unconscious goals in to conscious goals so that you will be able to literally design your own life and have absolute control about your life.

You may have heard a lot about goals setting, and tried many types of goals setting programs. But most of them fail, the reason is not because the programs don’t work, the reason is because of your own beliefs and thinking. I can tell you any goals setting program works, even the simplest one, just by writing down your goals, you can achieve them. Why some people come out from a goals setting workshop with great result, but others with little or no results. This leads to today’s topic, what makes a goal effective?

 What makes a goal effective?

First, your goals must be in harmony with your higher purpose. I believe that we all have a purpose in our life; this purpose has already been chosen even before we were born. Do you find yourself have some special talent, something that you enjoy to do, and you can it effortlessly, but others find it difficult? Do you find there is something that you enjoy doing so much such that the whole world suddenly disappears, the only thing that exists are you and the things you are doing. At those moments, you are on purpose. Whenever you are in harmony with your purpose, you feel joy and happiness. A most effective goal must be in harmony with your purpose, this is the only way to ensure that you not only achieve your goal, but also enjoy the process. The process become enjoyable and you also feel the fulfillment. Yes you can achieve your goals without being in harmony with your purpose, but you will never feel successful even you have all the accomplishments, and all the achievement. The easiest way to find your purpose is to pay attention to what you are good at, and what you are enjoying to do. If you can’t find it yourself, ask your parents, ask your friends, ask your families. Everyone has a special talent, which is the reason you come to this planet.

Secondly, your goals must be beneficial to the world. I am not trying to make myself honorable, but this is true, unless you goals are beneficial to others, you will not find anyone to corporate with you, the universe will also not work to your advantage. A selfish goal will never make it big. You can see from the biggest success in the world, all these people had a mission to make others life better, to help the world become a better place. How much better our life have become because of the computer? This makes Bill Gates become the richest man in the world. The more beneficial your goal is to others, the more value it will produce, and the more achievable it will become.

Thirdly, your goals must be supported by your own subconscious beliefs. Do you have an experience that you set a goal, and you did everything to make it happen, and at the last-minute something happened, and it destroyed everything, your desires suddenly disappeared, and you went back to your comfortable zone? I did have this kind of experience, I did not know why until I realized that I was holding some subconscious beliefs that are contradictive to my goals. That means I wanted something, but my subconscious mind didn’t. Your contradictive subconscious beliefs will create negative blocks that are extremely hard to break, this is why a simple task sometimes becomes very big in your mind, and you dare not to take any action. An effective goal must be in harmony with your current subconscious beliefs. You beliefs can change overtime due to your experience and the books you read, but you can never achieve anything that is bigger than your current beliefs. If your belief says that you can only make $1000 per month, you don’t set a goal of making $1 million dollar per month. Set a goal that is believable to your subconscious mind, once you have done $1000 dollar again and again, and you are so comfortable with it, your subconscious mind will start to believe the possibility to make $10,0000 dollars per month, and your goals will grow bigger and bigger from there.

How to test whether your goal is supported by your subconscious beliefs or not? I learned a simple test from Dr. Robert Anthony, the legendary peak performance expert. The test is very simple, you draw a vertical line on a blank piece of paper, on one side, you write yes, and on another, write no. Take a piece of string, tie something on one end to make a pendulum, hold your pendulum directly above the vertical line. Ask yourself the question” Can I achieve the goal of …” If you subconscious mind thinks it is possible, your pendulum will go to the yes side, and if not, it will go to the no side. I just want you to know that your subconscious mind does not always agree with your conscious mind. This test can only be used as a guide; don’t rely too much on the result you see from this test, because it won’t be 100% accurate if you only use it once or twice. Dr. Robert Anthony has discussed in details about the conscious and subconscious contradictions in his audio program “Know How to Be Rich”, I am amazed by his deep understanding of the human mind and the universal laws.

Fourthly, goals must be exact. As I have said that your goal was the command you send to the universe, so for the universe to be able to execute your command, it must understand exactly what you mean. ” I want more money” is only a wish, not a goal. The universe could not know what you want if you just tell it “I want more money”, OK, you want more money, here is one cent, take it. Since you want more money, one cent more is also more. The universe does not know how to fulfill your desire if you don’t tell it exactly. A real goal is something like this” I intend to manifest $10,000 dollars by 31 Jan 2014″,” I intent to set up my company by 1 March 2014″. Dont confuse the universe by an unclear goal. Ask for something specific, and the universe will end up giving you the specific result.

Article #2. Personal Success Through Goal Setting

Posted on

Setting goals and objectives is a process 6ft-laud-bch-6-7-13-puppet-foot1which has very wide application in business, and it was certainly a part of my own business training, which I had to put into practice regularly in the years that followed. Some of the better businesses and organizations will also incorporate personal goal setting into staff development, as part of the personnel (human) resources routine. But what about you as an individual? Can you use goal setting as a tool to help you achieve success?

Goal setting can, indeed, be a very useful, sometimes powerful assistant to your personal success. If you incorporate goals and objectives into your personal planning, whether short or long term, then your road to success will have a better foundation.

Success? Success at what? That is entirely up to you. If there is something in life you want to succeed at, then there will no doubt be some goals you can set to help you along the way; like stepping stones across a river when success is the opposite bank. In reality, you can apply goal setting techniques to any part of your life, whether it is to do with work, personal relationships, where you want to live, or a personal hobby or interest. So long as you set realistic goals at each stage, then they can be a very strong personal incentive, which will prepare you for the next stage. Eventually you will be able to look back and see how far you have come, and you can wave goodbye to those stepping stones and go on to new ones on another journey to success.

If you settle down and think clearly about what you want to succeed in, and then what you need to achieve in order to get there, you will quite naturally give a structure to a plan which you will follow; a structure that will incorporate goals you will need to achieve along the way. As with business goals and plans, your personal goals need to be realistic. If you have never driven a car and decide you want to be a Formula One race driver, then it does not make a lot of sense to go directly to Ferrari HQ and say “Here I am; can I race for you in next week’s Grand Prix?”

If you are determined enough, you may become an F1 driver, but there are a few little goals to achieve first. That applies to just about anything. You need to pinpoint the key achievements along the way to success in whatever it is you wish to succeed in, set an appropriate series of goals, and then tick them off one by one.

It is important to think clearly about your personal goals, as they are just that, personal. They are not your husband’s goals, you parents’ goals, or your brother’s goals, they are yours. Keep focused on what you want to achieve, not what others would like you to achieve from their own viewpoint. Use the opportunity to incorporate lifestyle goals into your plan, such as living by the sea, having a nice house, anything that is important to you. Even happiness benefits from goal setting; you can think about everything that would make you happy, and then set goals to achieve each of those elements.

Having decided your goals, then put them together in a plan that is realistic, otherwise you may be despondent after missing a goal which was impossible anyway. Set a reasonable timescale, and then try to aim for it step by step. If your chosen area of success is a competitive one, then remember that most people will just give up. But you will not give up, will you?

Article #1. Top 10 Traits of Highly Successful People

Posted on Updated on

We have all read about people who are successful briefly. They win a gold medal, make a fortune, or star in one great movie…and then disappear. Or, there are those like Ma6ft-laud-bch-6-7-13-puppet-foot1rilyn Monroe and Howard Hughes who achieve extraordinary success, at the cost of their own lives. These examples do not inspire me!

My focus and fascination is with people who seem to do well in many areas of life, and do it over and over through a lifetime. In entertainment, I think of Paul Newman and Bill Cosby. In business, I think of Ben and Jerry (the ice cream moguls), and a local hardware store owner who is famous for the money he’s given to children’s charities. As a Naval Officer, husband, businessman, politician and now as a mediator and philanthropist on the world stage, Jimmy Carter has had a remarkable life. We all know examples of people who go from one success to another.

These are the people who inspire me! I’ve studied them, and I’ve noticed they have the following traits in common:

1. They work hard! Yes, they play hard, too! They get up early, they rarely complain, they expect performance from others, but they expect extraordinary performance from themselves. Repeated, high-level success starts with a recognition that hard work pays off.

2. They are incredibly curious and eager to learn. They study, ask questions and read – constantly! An interesting point, however: While most of them did well in school, the difference is that they apply or take advantage of what they learn. Repeated success is not about memorizing facts, it’s about being able to take information and create, build, or apply it in new and important ways. Successful people want to learn everything about everything!

3. They network. They know lots of people, and they know lots of different kinds of people. They listen to friends, neighbors, co-workers and bartenders. They don’t have to be “the life of the party”, in fact many are quiet, even shy, but they value people and they value relationships. Successful people have a rolodex full of people who value their friendship and return their calls.

4. They work on themselves and never quit! While the “over-night wonders” become arrogant and quickly disappear, really successful people work on their personality, their leadership skills, management skills, and every other detail of life. When a relationship or business deal goes sour, they assume they can learn from it and they expect to do better next time. Successful people don’t tolerate flaws; they fix them!

5. They are extraordinarily creative. They go around asking, “Why not?” They see new combinations, new possibilities, new opportunities and challenges where others see problems or limitations. They wake up in the middle of the night yelling, “I’ve got it!” They ask for advice, try things out, consult experts and amateurs, always looking for a better, faster, cheaper solution. Successful people create stuff!

6. They are self-reliant and take responsibility. Incredibly successful people don’t worry about blame, and they don’t waste time complaining. They make decisions and move on. Sometimes they are criticized for taking this to extremes – Jimmy Carter carried his own briefcase and a President “shouldn’t” do that! Extremely successful people take the initiative and accept the responsibilities of success.

7. They are usually relaxed and keep their perspective. Even in times of stress or turmoil, highly successful people keep their balance; they know the value of timing, humor, and patience. They rarely panic or make decisions on impulse. Unusually successful people breaths easily, ask the right questions, and make sound decisions, even in a crisis.

8. Extremely successful people live in the present moment. They know that “Now” is the only time they can control. They have a “gift” for looking people in the eye, listening to what is being said, enjoying a meal or fine wine, music or playing with a child. They never seem rushed, and they get a lot done! They take full advantage of each day. Successful people don’t waste time, they use it!

9. They “look over the horizon” to see the future. They observe trends, notice changes, see shifts, and hear the nuances that others miss. A basketball player wearing Nikes is trivial, the neighbor kid wearing them is interesting, and your own teenager demanding them is an investment opportunity! Extremely successful people live in the present, with one eye on the future!

10. Repeatedly successful people respond instantly! When an investment isn’t working out, they sell. When they see an opportunity, they make the call. If an important relationship is cooling down, they take time to renew it. When technology or a new competitor or a change in the economic situation requires an adjustment, they are the first and quickest to respond.

These traits work together in combination, giving repeatedly successful people a huge advantage. Because they are insatiable learners, they can respond wisely to change. Because their personal relationships are strong, they have good advisors and a reserve of goodwill when things go bad. And finally, none of these traits are genetic! They can be learned! They are free and they are skills you can use. Start now!
